I don't actually remember much about this. The same journalist who wrote the New Woman article, Jerome Burne, said he'd sold a story on me to the Sunday Telegraph. I don't think I did anything for it. There was no demonstration or interview, as I recall. I think Jerome more or less just recycled what he already knew about me and, suddenly, there I was in the national press!
